Seattle's Columbia Center Sky View Observatory
I'm Sara, the Snail Mail Superstar. I'm a greeting card designer, letterpress printer and stationery shop owner. First and foremost, I love snail mail! In this video, I'm sharing with you my night at the Columbia Center's reimagined Sky View Observatory industry preview party! The gift shop at Sky View Observatory now carries cards that I design and print here at Constellation & Co! It's a huge deal to me to see my work for sale at such an iconic Seattle landmark! I took Mr. Snail Mail Superstar as my date to the party, and we had a ton of fun!
The Columbia Center is a skyscraper in downtown Seattle, Washington. It is 76 stories tall (the Observatory is on the 73rd floor), and is the tallest building in Seattle and the state of Washington, reaching a height of 933 feet (284 m). It is the fourth-tallest building on the West Coast. At nearly 1,000 feet, the Sky View Observatory offers the tallest public viewing area in the Pacific Northwest. The 360 degree panoramic view includes Mt. Rainier, Bellevue, the Cascade Mountains, Mt. Baker, Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains, the Space Needle and the city of Seattle. (Not sponsored, they're just a very cool new client for my biz, and we had a really fun time hanging out above the city!)
