Reports To: Sara, owner of Constellation & Co.

Job Overview: We are hiring shopkeepers to work at our Constellation & Co. brick and mortar shop! We sell stationery, unique gifts and handmade and locally made goods. We also design and print a line of letterpress stationery in house, so you’ll have the opportunity to wear many hats as part of the Constellation & Co. team. 

Hours: We are looking for people who are willing to work weekends! Each weekend team member hired must be willing to work 1-2 full weekends per month. Our weekend hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 3pm. You’ll be required to arrive 20-30 minutes early to prepare for the day, and stay 20-30 minutes after closing time to clean up and get ready for the next day. (6 hours total per weekend day.) You will greet customers with warmth, offer to help them find things, check out customers, and tidy the shop throughout the day.

Pay: $15/hour

Start Date: February 2018

Responsibilities and Duties:
Opening and closing the shop on time
Helping customers find and choose items
Working the cash register
Restocking items that sell throughout the day, unboxing arriving product
Keep the the sales shelves and tables tidy throughout the day
Cleaning up messes that occur, sweep the floor, feed the shop bird
Communicating with other team members and owner about customer questions/concerns/inquiries, and sold out items
Helping to package greeting cards after we print them

Retail sales experience
Organized and detail oriented
