HISTORY

We print our projects and client work by hand on our collection of antique printing presses.

Our historical printing equipment has been restored (with love!) from rust and grime back to printing condition. All of our presses are foot or hand powered and completely hand fed. Each sheet of paper goes through the press one at a time, and once through for each color printed. We specialize in small quantity letterpress printing for wedding invitations, personal & business stationery, greeting cards, art prints, and paper gifts. While our presses are low tech, a large portion of our work is designed on modern software and output to photopolymer printing plates. We print primarily on 100% cotton (tree free) paper, 100% recycled paper, or recycled content & FSC-certified papers.

We produce our line of letterpress greeting cards, posters, art prints and gifts in house. We also offer letterpress printing for our design, branding and wedding invitation clients. We love walking with our clients from the very beginning of a project – the concept – to the very end of a project – print pieces. Our hands on knowledge of the letterpress print process informs all of our decisions through the design process, and we offer complete design and letterpress printing packages to our clients.
