HISTORY

Letterpress is a historical form of printing, dating all the way back to Gutenberg in the mid-15th century. Letterpress printing uses antique presses to achieve beautiful handmade print pieces.

One of the hallmarks of letterpress is the “impression,” or indentation of the type & image into the paper that creates a lovely tactile feel. Each piece is printed entirely by hand, so subtle variations are to be expected, and add character. It’s one of the many reasons we love letterpress – it’s unique!
